Inspired by Miley Cyrus, Deloitte New Zealand Expands Facebook Page

Using live and recorded video, 1,000-employee Deloitte New Zealand is trying new features that’ll make its Facebook page more interactive.

The latest feature is a “Deloitte NZ Fan Showcase,” which you can find on the company’s Facebook wall. One of the company’s “fans” is interviewed with a little camera — an idea one Sodexo observer seems to like.

In addition to the fan showcase, the Facebook pages also include:

The two are handling most of the Facebook filming, writing posts, and so on from soup to nuts.
Live webcasts for fans — candidates — to hear more from the company. This was inspired by the way celebrities like Miley Cyrus were using Facebook. “Our inspiration for a lot of our initiatives comes from outside the recruitment and HR industries,” Jacobs says. “We are watching closely how celebrities, artists, DJs, and game developers are using social media to engage and build a loyal following of crazed and addicted fans. Our intention is for Deloitte employees/recent grad recruits to tell the story behind the brand, using the employee-branding philosophy rather than employer-branded.”
The payoff all this? Jacobs says “we’ve had significant ROI in securing top student talent from our competitors, and the offer-to-acceptance ratio was considerably higher compared to previous years.”

Miley Cyrus is only 17, but she partied last night at Voyeur nightclub, an adult venue that features topless dancers and S&M performances.

Miley hit the West Hollywood hot spot—sans Liam Hemsworth—to attend a private birthday bash. And by the looks of her short shorts and bare midriff, she seemed to be in the mood to show some skin herself.

So what was Miss Miley doing inside?

“She wasn’t drinking, just dancing with a girlfriend,” one tells me.

Another partygoer, sitting at the table next to the teen, dishes: “I was expecting her to be pretty wild, but in all honesty, she seemed pretty chill and looked like she was having a good clean time.”

Miley’s rep didn’t respond to our request for comment.

The “Party in the USA” singer left Voyeur around 1:30 a.m., but didn’t want to get photographed. Her friends shielded her as she walked out, and then she hid on the floor of a pal’s car as they drove off.

Miley Cyrus and “Hot New Hunk” Story Has Site “Flirting” with Absurdity

It’s become clear that Miley Cyrus can’t stand next to a man without outlets speculating that he might be a “new guy.”

Of course, the star’s actual guy is Liam Hemsworth, with whom she recently reunited.

According to X17Online, however, Cyrus was “spotted giggling and getting a little touchy-feely” with an unidentified man after working out in Los Angeles on Friday.

The site then makes this ridiculous leap: “Miley and Liam Hemsworth never made their reconciliation ‘official,’ so is she really cheating if she steps out with another guy?”

Um, what?

“Cheating”? Stepping out?

She’s walking and laughing next to someone.

That’s it.
