JLS Talk Miley & Her New Image

JLS have told MTV UK exclusively that when they met Miley Cyrus at a recent award show, she confessed she listening to their music.

We sat down for a chat with the X Factor boyband who recalled what it was like bumping into 17-year old Miley at the Much Music Video Award's in Canada.

Jonathan 'JB' Gill explained: "We saw her backstage at the MMVA's and we presented an award and she was coming off stage just as we were going on."

"She came to us and said ‘Yeah I listen to your music whenever I’m on the road in England’ So we were like cool man..."

He continued: "She’s doing so well, I mean she’s a young girl but she’s achieved so much already. I love her song Party In The USA. I was all over that one."

While on the subject of the Can't Be Tamed singer, we asked the boys what they thought about the negativity surrounding Cyrus over her raunchy new image.

Ortise Williams stated: "There comes a time in every artist's career where once you’re doing really well there’s someone who wants to find something to bring you down..."

"We know how people criticise you and find any kind of gaps or holes in what your doing when your achieving great things, and there’s no doubt about it she’s a great act and talented."

He added: "She’s a very hard worker and we met her to see that this girl has literally put everything into what she does and that’s something for every artist and creative person to defiantly be inspired by."
