Blake Mitchell tweeted: Party in the U.S.A. After I spent yesterday with the Burberry model, everyone in the office was giving me a hard time today. But it was all in good fun. I’m pretty sure they all think I’m just ridiculous. Maybe because I am. Anyway, so that was going on, and my boss, who was at the hotel all day today doing stuff for DFF’s upcoming feature “LOL,” sent me a task via email. The director of the film was looking for a particular fitness book, and she really wanted it today. So, as the intern, I got to search all the stores near Beverly Hills, put a copy on hold, take the company credit card and pick up the copy and deliver it to her at the hotel. No big deal. Well, as I was driving to the hotel to make my delivery, I had an “OH. MY. GOODNESS” moment. My boss was at the hotel all day with the heads of DFF (her bosses), the director of the film, and the cast. I started to get nervous. How had I forgotten about this? It was on her calendar. I knew who was going to be there. When I walked into the room to deliver the book, I first saw Douglas (who I escorted yesterday), and then I turned and saw Miley sitting right next to the director. I gave the book to my boss who gave it to the director who gave it to Miley, and she proceeded to look at me and shout “yeah, man!” The little things. I was out of the room as quickly as I came in — I realized I wasn’t welcome at their little lunch meeting. But it was a cool moment, and Miley is definitely cuter that I expected her to be in person.
