Miley Cyrus' VMA Nomination

Miley Cyrus got nominated for the MTV Video Music Awards for her music video of 7 things. The category is best editing and she's against Lady Gaga's Paparazzi, Coldplay's Viva La Vida, Britney Spears' Circus and Beyoncé's Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).

7 things' music video was edited by Jarrett Fijal and MTV described the music video like this: "Angst-ridden, teenagers unite! Miley and a bunch of lip-syncing girls vent their frustrations about the opposite sex while backed up by a live band. It beats eating a pint of Ben & Jerry’s."

Unfortunately the fans are not allowed to vote on the category that Miley got nominated for so let's just keep our fingers crossed and wish Miley good luck.

Don't forget to watch the Awards' show on MTV on Sunday, September 13 at 9PM ET to know If Miley won the award. It will be hosted by Russell Brand and the location is New York.
