What was it like making a movie with your girlfriend, Miley?
Liam: “Miley is great! We had a lot of fun, she’s always bright and happy and it’s a pleasure to work with her.”

Did you enjoy working with Greg Kinnear?
Liam: “Greg’s a really funny guy and always doing odd stuff. I sent a message to Miley one day when we were on set to see if she was there, too. And she wrote back that she was, and that Greg is such a handsome, amazing actor and she thinks she’s just so great. I read it and thought it was kind of an odd thing to say, so I wrote back that yeah, I agree. But of course he had her phone!”

This is the first major movie you’ve starred in that didn’t involve Hannah Montana. Were you nervous?
Miley: “At first it was a little intimidating because it’s such a big step for me. But I was very excited. I wanted to make sure that i portrayed [my character] Ronnie as being completely different from Hannah.”

What’s was it like working with your boyfriend?
Miley: “Liam is so much fun to work with! He’s such a huge star in Australia, so to help introduce him to our side of world was really cool. I know how that feels because I travel all over the world on tour. He’s from Australia and I’m from the South, but this movie is something new for both of us. This is his breakout moment in the States, and this my breakout moment away from Hannah Montana.”
