From PH: I was at The Grove yesterday in LA with my friends and I met Liam Hemsworth hanging around with some buddies. Not sure who they were, one girl and a few other guys. I’m not sure if they were together or they were just fans talking to him. I think he’s a good actor so I said ‘I loved you in the Last Song,’
And he replied, ‘thanks so much.’ I was going to ask about Miley, but chickened out and so my friend did. She said, ‘have you seen Miley lately?’ and he replied, ‘no, not since she left for, uh, LOL, but I might visit her soon. Maybe. We’ll see.’
We were just saying how cute they were together and he started blushing and then my friend asked if he counted Nick Jonas as competition for Miley (she loves Niley) and he laughed so hard and was like, ‘um, I really don’t think so,’ and laughed and then added, ‘why do people keep asking me about him?’
I said, ‘because everyone’s so convinced they’re true love,’ and he didn’t reply, instead just kind of smiled and then said he’ll catch us later and left. I didn’t have my camera, there are pics here.

Miley Cyrus is hardly a wall-flower judging by her risqué on-stage outfits and pole dancing antics, but it seems her ‘people’ are keen to cling on to whatever ‘teen-dream’ image she has left. In a bid to do so, they have reportedly discouraged any friendship with her LOL: Laughing Out Loud co-star, Ashley Greene.
When filming Twilight, Ashley is used to living it up with co-stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The Twilight cast have made no secret of their love for socialising with one another and Ashley has been leading the way as party girl extraordinaire.
Heat magazine reports that Ashley, 23, spent last Halloween raving it up in Vegas with Twilight hunk and then-squeeze Kellan Lutz, but her party-loving ways soon affected their relationship.
A source told the magazine: “Ashley always wanted to party. She sacrificed their relationship for it. When they were in Vegas, she wanted to stay out all night, even though Kellan’s parents were also in town and they were seeing them the next day. She didn’t care.”
Hardly the crime of the century but still, Miley’s camp are worried that Greene will be a bad influence on oh-so-innocent Cyrus.
A source said: “When Miley was out with Taylor Swift, Taylor’s friends thought Miley was too crazy.
“Now Miley’s being protected from Ashley.”
Despite all the reports that have been saying the 23-year-old actress is being kept away from L.O.L. costar Miley Cyrus, they’re not true.
Thanks to Gossip Cop, a rep for Miley says the report is simply “not true” and adds the co-stars are allowed to hang out as much as they wish.

Former Teen Star Tiffany Defends Miley Cyrus
“Miley Cyrus is on a great track,” Tiffany, now 38, told UsMagazine.com at Saturday’s EW Comic-Con party at Hotel Solamar in San Diego.
“I know that there are a lot of people that say well when you are so young you shouldn’t be sexy,” the “I Think We’re Alone Now” singer conceded.
“I think that in today’s world you kind of have to be [sexy]– to be competitive in the market,” Tiffany told Us. “I think that she is doing it appropriately. And it’s always a fine line there.”
“But I’m a huge fan of hers. I think she’s gonna have a long career,” she gushed, adding praise to Cyrus’ mom and dad, too. “Her parents are guiding her right, and it really matters what base you have around you. Very much so.”
Although Tiffany stayed buttoned up during her teenage fame, she did pose nude for Playboy in 2002. She has a 17-year-old son, Elijah, from her first marriage, and has been married to second husband Benn George since 2004.

Miley Cyrus: "Hannah Montana Was Restricting"
Miley Cyrus has spoken about the end of her television show Hannah Montana, saying there were “a lot of restrictions” with the role.
The actress-and-singer is looking forward to wrapping up the final series of the popular Disney programme and focusing on new projects. Miley has fond memories of playing her famous alter-ego, but feels ready to move on now because she thinks the character has reached a natural conclusion.
"I'll be 18 this year. Definitely you do a lot of growing, and that's hard to do on a show that does have a lot of restrictions as well. Because there are things we want to do, but then what?” she said in an interview with ET Online.
"Once you put them in college, it's like, 'OK. Then Hannah Montana does what?' So, it's kind of hard to keep it going when there's only really so much you can do with the character that can only grow so much.”
Miley describes the show as a “phenomenon” and is confident she will team up with her co-stars again in the future.
Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus, who also appears in the show, is also happy the programme has been such a success and supports Miley’s desire to pursue new projects.
He is confident his daughter’s career will continue to flourish and has revealed she is keen to focus on her music for now.
"For Miley, myself, the cast, the crew, everyone - it's just the right time to end this chapter and begin a new one," he said. "Miley is a singer and a songwriter, she knows where she wants to go… I think she'll always be growing as an artist."

Is Miley Cyrus A Good Fit For Glee?
After a successful first season on Fox, featuring the music of Lady Gaga and Madonna to name a few, Glee has fast become the “it” show among TV and music lovers. Given the popularity of Glee and the huge fan base of Miley Cyrus, would Miley be a good fit for Glee? Although Miley Cyrus has been a Disney girl, could the music of Miley work on Glee? How about Miley herself as a guest? Previews of Glee Season 2 have been released and Heather Morris as Cheerio Britney will finally get her chance to shine in the second episode, which features the music of Britney Spears.

Singer and ”Gossip Girl” star Taylor Momsen isn’t done sharing her thoughts on ”Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus just yet. Only one week after Momsen blasted Miley, the Disney Channel, and her genre of music in an interview, she is now at it again.
Here is what Momsen had to say in an interview with 411Mania.com:
“I don’t even know Miley Cyrus. There’s just no comparison between us, you know. I’m a rocker, she’s a pop star. We’re entirely different things and there’s a big difference between us. I have nothing against her, I don’t even know her. I just don’t listen to her stuff. I don’t give [an expletive]. It’s ridiculous that Disney is as relevant as it is today even with adults. Where is the real music? What happened to Zeppelin, and people who play their own instruments? There’s always going to be pop but it’s not real music, it’s not me.“
So what’s the conclusion we can draw from this? Taylor Momsen doesn’t hate Miley Cyrus — she just hates everything she stands for.
Taylor, I understand that you respect Miley, but there are many people that listen to what you consider “relevant” like Led Zeppelin AND what you consider “irrelevant”, like Disney music. Just saying. Thoughts?

Tanz Watson just nabbed a role in the upcoming comedy LOL: Laughing Out Loud, sources confirm exclusively to JustJared.com.
In the English-language remake of the Gallic smash, the 21-year-old model-turned-actor will star opposite Demi Moore, Miley Cyrus, Hung’s Thomas Jane and Twilight’s Ashley Greene.
LOL tells the story of a teenage girl (Cyrus) who is dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend (George Finn) and sets her sights on his best friend. Meanwhile, her divorcee mother (Moore) struggles to move on with her life.
Tanz is definitely one to watch in 2011. Everybody is going to go crazy over him!

Marlo Thomas To Play Miley’s Grandmother in LOL
Maro Thomas is known to the 70s-era generation as the iconic That Girl, and maybe to Generation X as Rachel’s mom on Friends, but she’s practically a nobody to the tweens and teens who are empowering Justin Bieber to take over the world… though that’s about to change. Mandate Pictures has announced in a press release that Thomas is joining the cast of LOL, a comedy starring Miley Cyrus that’s a remake of an original French film Laughing Out Loud.
Two weeks ago Ashley Greene also signed on to play a high school rival of Cyrus’s character, and Demi Moore is also on board to play Cyrus’s mom. That makes three generations of “It Girl” actresses, which should be interesting enough even if the movie is a total bore. Thomas will be playing Moore’s character’s mother, of course, so expect plenty of hype around the three actresses, together at last! Not that we’ve exactly been clamoring for it, but I suppose there are worse trios you could pull together... Georgia Rule comes to mind...

Did you expect so much success from Hannah? "I think I knew it would be a success because the writers are so incredible and the script was amazing. But I don't think I expected it to be like the phenomenon that it is. I don't think I expected it to open so many doors for other artists on Disney to be able to involve music and acting and all that. I'm really proud to be a part of a really cool family. I'm excited to move on to new things. But I definitely didn't expect it to take off the way that it did, especially so soon. I can't believe it's already coming to an end, either. It feels like we just started."
How do you think you've changed? "I think I've definitely changed a lot. When I came to the set, I had my mom. She was my assistant, makeup artist, hair stylist, and wardrobe person all at the same time. My mom had me in this t-shirt that she had got for me that says 'I should have my own TV show.' I had it on with my skirt and full face make up. I was just sitting there like, 'Oh my God, I'm on a Disney set. My life is like about to change.' Sure enough, it did. I just remember coming to work with full face makeup, and now we're all in our pajamas when we come to work. I'm definitely a lot more comfortable with myself and I don't need to feel like I need to get dressed up every day. This is just like a home to us."
Excited or sad for the show to end? "I'm really looking forward to it. Right after this I go into an independent film called LOL with Demi Moore. With Hannah, I've been so attached for so long. It is so commercial and so franchised and done for such a big market. I'm going off that type of show into a film that is an indie movie. There isn't a huge distributor behind it. I'll be making a film that we think is going to touch people. It's got a lot of edginess to it and it's definitely not just for the fan base of Hannah Montana. You've just got to choose things that you really like and that are right for you at the time."

Bret Michaels Talks Miley and All The Controversies Around Her
Bret Michaels will be doing an exclusive new interview with Entertainment Tonight's Samantha Harris and reflecting on his illness, his path to recovery and even Miley Cyrus!
On Miley Cyrus and her family:
"Miley and her family — Tish and Billy Ray and all of them — they've all been friends for a while. They've been out to our shows and my daughters have been to her shows… [Miley] came in and sang a really, really awesome harmony. And it caused amazing controversy out of nothing.”

Perez Hilton posted a pic of a guy with a girl, who he claimed to be Miley Cyrus, and he added that Miley was cheating on Liam. Well, that's a lie. Miley's representatives said that Miley was NOT the girl on that photo. Check the pic below:

Kellie Martin Tells Miley To Go To College
Former child star Kellie Martin has warned Miley Cyrus to finish her schooling so she'll have something to fall back on: “I would tell Miley to go to college. I really think that saved me. I went to Yale. It's really, really important to get an education because when all of this is gone, then at least you have your education. Then you can do whatever it is you want to do. If tomorrow I decided to stop being an actor I could go do a lot of other things. Knowing that makes me a whole person and have confidence in who I am as a whole person as opposed to confidence in who I am as just an actor. She's actually wildly talented, little Miley Cyrus, and she has a sweet family. If she went to college, she'd be totally set. She'd be set forever.”
RUMOR: Miley is Too Sexy For Liam?
NOTE: This is only a rumor so it might be untrue. Liam has not talked about this in public and neither has Miley.
Liam Hemsworth thinks 'false bad girl' Miley Cyrus might be about to do a Britney Spears. He doesn't think his girlfriend should be persuing the sex-kitten image so early on in her career.
A source told HEAT: "Liam tried to convince her that fans were originally drawn to her wholesome image and now she's going more into the Britney Spears category. He's afraid she's going to end up like Britney."
One of the causes of friction between the pair is Miley's strange new 'love' tattoo, which she had inked onto her ear last week and is causing arguments: "It wasn't so much about the tattoo itself, but more about the road Miley is going down. Liam doesn't like the fact she wants to be seen as a 'bad girl' and a 'sex symbol'. He thinks it's fake. The first tatto was fine, 'Just Breathe' is the slogan for a cystic fibrosis charity she has worked with. But come on, another tattoo? All of this acting out garbage is not his thing."

Kelis defends Miley Cyrus
The highly-criticized Miley Cyrus has found an unlikely ally in Kelis, who has jumped to the 17-year-old’s defense in a new interview.
Chatting to Yahoo, Kelis warned people to get off Miley’s back when asked about what the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer has been going through lately, rolling out an impressive rant about artists’ verses popstars’ in the process.
“Somebody had said something to me about it, like, “Have you seen her new video?” and I was like, “Yeah, I actually think it’s great”. [they were like] “Yeah, but you know, that’s not who she is,” and I’m like, “Get over yourself!”. At the end of the day, her life is — and I don’t generally talk about other artists… — but people need to get off her back.
“It’s like, you live your life — especially as an artist — if you’re any good, your feelings are on your sleeve. That’s what I really appreciate about artists verses a popstar. A popstar, they always have to be good. I don’t want that responsibility. I’m not always good, sometimes I suck, but that’s OK because I’m human. I’m an artist, I’m expressing what I’m actually going through in my life. If I’m pissed off, if I’m happy, if I’m pregnant and emotional; whatever it is I’m dealing with, ‘screw you‘, because this is my life.
“My art and what I do is how I express what I’m dealing with right now. It doesn’t always have to be a number one hit – who gives a crap? That’s what it is, and I think for her [Miley], in particular, she’s a teenager, her whole life has been on blast because of what she does and she happens to be good at it. I think it’s kind of retarded when people are like, “Oh she’s trying to be this and she’s…”, who gives a crap! This is what you do, who wasn’t like that at eighteen, nineteen? Cut her some slack. People forget that just because you are in the public eye they think you’re supposed to temper yourself…
“I saw the video [Can't Be Tamed] and I was like “wow”. I knew exactly what she was going through as I watched it. I thought it was a beautiful video, she looks great, I get exactly what she’s saying, she couldn’t have put it more clear; She’s in a cage. I get it, it’s great, I think it’s brilliant, good for her. I’m glad she did that. It’s her right.”

When it comes to stars like Miley Cyrus, people often let the drama and negativity of the celebrity gossip side of things cloud their judgement, and it turns into a bit of a witch hunt against whoever is the flavor of the moment. As long as the music and visuals are good, nobody is getting hurt and everybody is being honest, then it shouldn’t matter. She hasn’t even done anything bad either, which is what makes the whole thing so silly.

Miley Cyrus’ young fans are rebelling against her rebellion', reports Reuters. The sexy pop princess' album 'Can’t Be Tamed', preceded by a sexy video, sold just 102,000 copies in US, hitting No. 3 on Billboard 200.
Her Walmart-exclusive EP 'Time of Our Lives' sold 153,000 during its first full week last September. Her debut album 'Breakout' landed at No. 1 in July 2008 with 371,000 units. 'Hannah Montana' sold 281,000 units in 2006, 'Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus' with 326,000 the following year.
Hannah Montana concert tickets used to be hot, but now kids love Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Drake and Justin Bieber. But, Disney market reseach said that Miley's fan base in the 16-22 age bracket stood at 47% this week from 16% last June.

Miley Cyrus $24,000 Hair Rumor Is NOT True
In Touch tries to create a new controversy for Miley Cyrus by claiming the 17-year-old star has rather expensive tastes when it comes to her hair.
According to the tab’s “insider,” the teen queen “spent more than $24,000 on her recent extensions, importing the hair from Italy and flying out her New York stylist, Kristina Barricelli from Gemini 14 salon, to L.A. to do the ‘do.’"
“Miley bought the best hair possible, and then had it dyed to match hers exactly,” the “insider” explains. “Her hair is an investment.”
So is credibility, so it’s unfortunate In Touch’s stock plummeted long ago. If this tale of intercontinental mane management sounds far fetched… that’s because it is.
The $24,000 extensions story is “not true,” a rep for Cyrus tells Gossip Cop.
Katy Perry: "Miley is Britney Spears all over again!"
Katy Perry saw Miley Cyrus backstage at the 2010 MuchMusic Awards and immediately told her friend that she thought Miley would become the next Britney Spears, according to Life & Style. Katy said: "Oh my God, poor girl. She’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes."
When her friend asked if she meant Lindsay Lohan, not Britney, Katy said: "No, she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad."

Miley revealed in an interview that would love to do a cover if one of your songs from one of her BFFS, Taylor Swift.
“I’d love to do a cover of Taylor Swift. Her songs are wonderful. Working with her at the Grammys was so fun and I realized I wanted to sing a song from her again. So maybe in my next CD I sing a song of Taylor. My fans will have to wait and see.”

Miley Cyrus Talks About The Future
Even having just released a new album called “Can’t be Tamed” and even saying that would be the last for some time, Miley is already thinking about the next CD.
“I’m now working on songs for a CD in 2011, maybe. In 2012 I’ll be 20 years then I’ll have the chance to show my fans my adult side. So it would be great to bring a new album. So maybe in 2011 I bring an EP or something. But I really have my heart wanting to show my fans an adult side in 2012. If I can not make a CD in 2012, maybe do something different.”
Now who thought she would stop giving us great music, relax. Miley can not get much time away from music.
For MTV, she talked about how to deal with the criticism of the media:
“I’m not going wild. I just grew up. Dress in a more radical way is just a part of my job as performancer. I am perfomancer. I’m just avoiding the rumors that I’m going crazy and wild on stage and that type of thing. I do not understand why people start rumors like this, so horrible. I would never do something like that.”

Advice for younger self: 'I would probably tell myself, 'Know you are going to have to listen to yourself talk A LOT. I listen to interviews sometimes and say to myself, 'Miley, what were you thinking? I was probably thinking about something else and on cruise control, and I realize that I never answered the question. 'Stay focused,' I would tell myself.'
On Hannah ending: 'We want to celebrate it by giving it a really great ending. There have been so many Disney shows and no many of them have great endings. Our show really deserves a big ending because it was the beginning of so many great things for Disney. High School Musical and Hannah Montana really gave Disney Channel the opportunity to move into music organically. I think having a start and a finish to our show will be really cool.
I promised that on the last day all of my directors and producers would wear the Hannah wig. They would always tell me, 'Stop complaining about the wig. You only have to wear it for twenty minutes today!' Meanwhile, I'm thinking to myself, 'YOU don't have to pull all of your hair up in there and it hurts!'
So I promised I'm going to pin curl their hair and we are going to glue on the wig and they all have to wear the wig all day, all of them! We are also going to make them wear heels, dress as Hannah, and they can't eat all day because it might ruins their Hannah lipstick!'
